Leo D. Boisvert, MBA, CIMA®, CDFA

Chief Financial Strategist, Senior Managing Partner

Leo D. Boisvert, senior managing partner and chief financial strategist of Private Wealth Consultants LLC, he holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designations. He is responsible for strategic investment development and estate and financial planning. He combines his professional knowledge with clients' needs to provide appropriate investment strategies.

Along with his duties at Private Wealth Consultants, Leo, also known to many as the "Investment Doctor," is an adjunct professor of business and economics, as well as a national speaker and lecturer on wealth strategies for lifetime security, retirement planning, and personal financial management. He has completed MBA studies in financial management and is currently participating in post-graduate doctoral research in the area of behavioral economics. Leo was awarded the CIMA® designation from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, in association with the Investment Management Consultants Association. He also holds the FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 8 (Securities Management and Supervision), 31 (Managed Futures), 63 (State Blue Sky Laws), and 65 ( Investment Advisor Law) registrations as a registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. In addition, he is a licensed insurance representative in life and annuities.In 2014, Leo was named a Five StarSM Wealth Manager multi-year awad winner* by Gulfshore Life Magazine.

Most recently, Leo and Erik sponsored and funded the Private Wealth Consultants LLC Athletics Scholarship Endowed Fund through the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation, providing educational scholarships to athlete/students based on need. Leo is actively involved in the community. He is on the committee for Strategic Planned Giving for the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation, the Florida Gulf Coast University Athletic Boosters Club, and the Hodges University President's Council for Advancement. He regularly is a guest instructor for the Frances Pews Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning at Hodges University in Fort Myers and Naples, as well as a guest lecturer at Florida Gulf Coast University and Hodges University in Fort Myers and Naples and Florida Southwestern College Lifelong Learning in Retirement program at the Port Charlotte campus. Leo and his wife, Maryjane, have two children—Brent, a graduate from State University of New York Maritime College who now serves as a Port Supervisor at the Port of Tampa and Jennie, a former Division 1 Softball Player at Sacred Heart University in CT is currently in the Physicians Assistants Program at West Virginia University Medical School.

In his spare time, Leo enjoys painting, reading and traveling with his wife Maryjane.

Erik G. Heben, CFP®

Chief Investment Strategist, Managing Partner

Erik is a managing partner and chief investment strategist with Private Wealth Consultants. His focus is on investment evaluation, asset allocation, and portfolio management. Erik works with clients in evaluating appropriate investment plans to help meet specific goals and income requirements.

Erik began his investment career while still in college and has spent his 30-year professional career in the financial industry. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Erik graduated with a BA from Kent State University and has been awarded the national certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. He holds the FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 9, 10 (General Securities Sales Supervisor), 30 (Branch Manager Futures), 31 (Managed Futures), 63 (State Blue Sky Laws), and 65 (Investment Advisory) registrations as a registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. Erik is also a licensed insurance representative in life, health, long-term care, and variable/fixed annuities.

In 2010, Leo and Erik sponsored and funded the Private Wealth Consultants LLC Athletics Scholarship Endowed Fund through the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation, providing educational scholarships to athlete/students based on need. Erik spent a number of years cohosting a popular investment radio show and has been quoted in the media for his opinions on a number of financial-related issues. Erik has been named a Five StarSM Wealth Manager* award winner in Gulfshore Life  Magazine. Also, in 2008, Erik was named to the Gulfcoast Business Review's "40 under age 40" list for his business and community contributions to the Southwest Florida region.

Erik and his wife Paula reside in Fort Myers, Florida, and have two sons: Peyton and Preston. Peyton lives in Nashville, TN and is involved in Artist Management through his company, Twenty-Two Entertainment . Preston is a freshman at Daytona State and is a member of the baseball team.

Erik and Paula are very involved in the community. Erik is a guest lecturer at the Frances Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning at Hodges University. Erik was a founding member, and former member of the Executive Committee, of the Florida Gulf Coast University Athletic Board, overseeing the booster club, known as the Eagles Club. He has been actively involved in South Fort Myers Little League for many years acting as the League Treasurer for 4 years.

Paula Heben, BS

Administration, Head of Operations

Paula is the office manager as well as a registered client service representative. She responsible for facilitating, organizing, and administering the account needs of our clients. This includes account origination, transfers, and creating detailed capabilities within each account, wherever necessary. She has more than 25 years in investment account management and administration.

Paula has a BS in business management from the University of West Virginia and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations through Commonwealth.

Paula has lived in Florida since 1986. She is married to Erik, and together they have two sons, Peyton and Preston. Peyton lives in Nashville, TN and is involved in Artist Management through his company, Twenty-Two Entertainment. Preston is a freshman at Daytona State and plays baseball.

 In her free time, Paula loves the Hallmark Channel, her animals and as much family time as possible.
 

Dawn Mannina Sanford

Administrative Assistant

Dawn is an administrative assistant and receptionist at Private Wealth Consultants having joined the firm in 2014. Dawn assists in all aspects of customer service and client administration of the firm.

Dawn, who is married to Rick Sanford, has a BA from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Originally from Chicago, Dawn moved to Orlando in 2005 and became a professional water skier at Sea World Orlando as well as Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Florida. Dawn also performed as a professional ice skater at Cypress Gardens and was part of a traveling ice skating show that traveled throughout the U.S. and overseas military bases.

Dawn is an avid competitive tennis player in both singles and doubles. She enjoys working out, reading, and going to the beach every chance she gets.
